Breakfast at Ya Kun Kaya

There is nothing better than breakfast with a toast, egg and coffee. How much more with the company you like to be with?

This was my fourth time in Singapore , but I never had the chance to see and feel the rain while crossing the street just to have the early bite of a lifetime.

Indeed, it was a Royal treat! Two slices of Kaya toast with a spread made of coconut milk, egg, sugar and pandan!

My friend SG taught me how to eat the famous local yummy soft boiled egg with unusual raw uncooked parts. Just like him, I seasoned it with an authentic Singaporean soy sauce. Eager to eat, I missed spicing up the egg with pepper. The sun came up just as I was breaking the egg yolk and it was a perfect delight experience!
